This site provides information on what you should know and expect during the recovery process following a disaster that has affected your community. With an emphasis on information sharing, coordination, and resiliency, you will find practical suggestions to help you better manage the recovery process with a focus on mitigating the effects of future disasters. The recommendations are divided into three sections: private industry stakeholder, local government, and State tribal government, to highlight the information most pertinent to each party. However, because most recommendations given can apply to all parties involved, it is suggested that you consider all recommendations as you manage the transportation recovery process.
