FY2010 DOT Annual Performance Report

The United States Department of Transportation’s (DOT or the Department) Annual Performance Report (APR) for fiscal year (FY) 2010 provides an overview of the Department’s performance and results to Congress, the President and the American people.

This report is one in a series of reports required under the Administration’s Pilot Program for Alternative Approaches to Performance and Accountability Reporting. This was the first year that the Department participated in this voluntary program in an effort to strengthen its annual reporting documents and to present more streamlined and timely information. It also clarifies the relationship between performance, budgetary resources and financial reporting.

The United States Department of Transportation’s (DOT or the Department) Annual Performance Report (APR) for fiscal year (FY) 2011 provides an overview of the Department’s performance and results to Congress, the President and the American people.

 
This report is one in a series of reports required under the Administration’s Pilot Program for Alternative Approaches to Performance and Accountability Reporting. This is the second year that the Department has participated in this voluntary program in an effort to strengthen its annual reporting documents and to present more streamlined and timely information. It also clarifies the relationship between performance, budgetary resources and financial reporting.

DOT Budget and Performance

The President’s FY 2014 budget request for the Department of Transportation is $77 billion – 6% above the FY 2012 enacted levels. The President’s Budget also includes a $50 billion program to provide immediate transportation investments in key areas. These resources will fund needed investments in our vital transportation systems while at the same time creating jobs and strengthening our Nation’s economy.
