Office of Intelligence, Security and Emergency ResponseHome | Staff | Organization Chart | Biographies | Organizational Functions Program ActivitiesIntelligence DivisionSummary: The Intelligence Division is responsible for providing all-source intelligence products to the Secretary of Transportation and the principal staff, to include the Deputy Secretary, the Under Secretary for Policy, the Assistant Secretary for Aviation and International Affairs as well as DOT Operating Administrators. The Intelligence Division ensures they are apprised of current developments and longer range trends in international terrorism, global and international issues concerning aviation, trade, transportation markets, trade agreements and a range of other international cooperation and facilitation issues, as they affect U.S. security and international efforts. In addition to providing intelligence support to the Secretary and principal staff, the Intelligence Division supports a variety of other DOT consumers of intelligence. Partner Agencies: Intelligence and Law Enforcement Communities to include the National Counterterrorism Center, the National Joint Terrorism Task Force, the Central Intelligence Agency, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Department of Defense.
