U.S.-China Transportation Forum

The 6th U.S.-China Transportation Forum was hosted by the U.S. Department of Transportation on October 28-30, 2013 in Chicago, Illinois in conjunction with two other significant U.S. and China transportation-related events:

  • The “Yangtze-Mississippi River Forum”
  • “Sino-American Logistics Conference and Exhibition”

The U.S. delegation was led by U.S. Deputy Secretary of Transportation, John Porcari while the Chinese delegation was led by Vice Minister of Transport, Gao Hongfeng.  Other participants included U.S. Government officials from USDOT, the U.S. Trade and Development Agency, as well as the Departments of State and Commerce, among others.
