Hurricane Katrina - Business Involvement in Recovery

The Department of Commerce, working in conjunction with the Departments of Transportation and Homeland Security, the White House, and other agencies involved in the relief and rebuilding effort, has launched a Hurricane Relief Call Center for the business community. The toll-free number is 1-888-4USADOC or 1-888-487-2362. The Call Center will serve as a government point of contact to coordinate all corporate generosity to where it is needed most and to be a resource for Gulf Coast businesses who are working to rebuild. The primary purpose of this effort is to link offers from the business community with those individuals and organizations in need. The Department of Commerce will staff phone lines seven days a week from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm EDT.
