The Executive Order 13274 Task Force held a stakeholder workshop on March
31, 2005, at the U.S. DOT Headquarters in Washington, DC. The purpose of this
workshop was to provide a public forum to discuss the activities accomplished
to date under Executive Order 13274.
The workshop utilized an open house format that provided transportation and
environmental stakeholders, members of Federal, State and local governments,
and the public the opportunity to freely come and go and have questions answered
on topics of interest. There were no formal presentation; instead, the room
contained a number of stations where visitors could pick up literature and
discuss issues with Task Force members and their staff. In addition, participants
had the opportunity to comment on any of the topics.
