This is a research project to gather, analyze, and distill data to determine the total energy use for the various in-place recycle paving methods and compare that to conventional paving. It is anticipated that this will be accomplished by seeking, collecting and analyzing relevant information and building upon that information to develop and carry out a detailed analysis of energy for each in-place technique. The scope of this work is to carry out a study to comprehensively document and analyze the total energy use associated with in-place recycle paving methods as compared to conventional paving methods.
