COOP - The Office of Safety and Security within FTA is charged with developing a Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) that ensures the continuation of the agency's essential functions at the outset of a major crisis and at least up to 30 days in the aftermath while providing the highest possible level of safety and securlty. The focus on COOP is on developing and implementing standards, criteria, plans and procedures for headquqrters and regional personnel.

Title V, of Public Law 100-656 requires that Federal agencies make available its Procurement Forecast to the Small Business Administration (SBA) and to interested business owners.
