Acting Associate CIO for Technology Operations & Infrastructure

TJ is the Acting Associate Chief Information Officer for Information Technology Shared Services.  As the ACIO, he provides leadership and technical direction to ensure a cost effective, high performance and secure IT infrastructure.  Providing service operations/delivery of services to Operating Administrations (OA) within the Common Operation Environment for the Office of the Secretary (OST).

Prior to joining DOT, TJ held numerous senior management and executive positions both within and outside of the federal government to include the U.S. Marshal Service (USMS), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the U.S. Secret Service (USSS) and Nortel Networks.  While at these various departments/agencies TJ had numerous accomplishments including the build out and stand up of TSA/DHS headquarters.  Build out of DHS command centers.  Deploying and networking security check point equipment to over 494 airports for TSA.  Creation and implementation of customer service frameworks, overhauling USMS support division and team lead for Presidential advance trips and overseeing unclass/class communications for the USSS.
