This consent order concerns radio advertisements by Iberia Lineas Aereas de Espana, S.A., (Iberia Airlines) that fded to comply with the Department's rule on fare advertising, 14 CFR 399.84, and thereby violated the statutory proscription in 49 U.S.C. § 41712 against unfair and deceptive practices. This order directs Iberia Airlines to cease and desist from future violations and assesses the carrier a compromise civil penalty of $35,000.
