This Consent Order concerns violations by Northwest Airlines, Inc., (Northwest) of the Department's oversales rule, 14 CFR Part 250, and 49 U.S.C. 5 41 712, which prohibits unfair and deceptive practices, stemming from the carrier's failure to provide, upon request, a written explanation of its denied boarding policies.
