Slater to Travel to Germany, Belgium and England
U.S. Transportation Secretary Rodney E. Slater will travel to Bonn, Germany; Brussels, Belgium and London, England, March 22-26, it was announced today.
In Germany, March 22-23, Slater will address the Association of German Industry in Cologne and hold meetings with government and transportation industry officials in Bonn.
In Brussels, March 24, he will address the American Chamber of Commerce and meet with European Union Commissioner for Competition Karel Van Miert and Commissioner for Transport Neil Kinnock.
In England March 25-26, Slater will meet with British Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott, hold meetings with senior officials of several British airlines and tour Heathrow Airport.
