SECRETARIAL MULTI-MEDIA ROOM

The DOT Media Center operates a state-of-the-art briefing room, featuring seating capacity for 105 people, slide and video projection, a public address and sound reinforcement system, audio / video recording, and internet, telephone, and video-teleconferencing.

The Secretarial Briefing Room can be configured for the following uses:

• Multi-Camera, High Definition Television Production Studio.
• Press Briefing Room for the Secretary and Modal Administrators.
• Theater and Audio Visual Screening Room.
• Special Event Venue and Demonstration Room.
• Conference Center for Meetings, Seminars, Presentations, and Training.

DOT Television

The DOT Media Center produces Broadcast-Quality television programming for the Secretary of Transportation, as well as all of DOT’s Modal Administrators.  These service capabilities include:

• Pre-production Consultations and Product Assessment Reviews.
• Project Conceptualization, Storyboarding, and Technical Direction.
• On-Location Production and Live Feeds.
• Studio-originated Live and Live-To-Tape Production for Thematic Programming.
• Distribution via Satellite, Fiber-Optic Teleport, and Internet.
• Post-Production Including Composting, Animation, Graphics and Film Transfer.
• Interview Studio for Broadcast News Media Representatives.
• Feed Station for Audio Visual Media Distribution to any Media Entity.
• Live Remote Hits to any National Broadcast Entity via Satellite or Fiber.
