Distribution Services

On-Line Publications (OLP) offers the public the option to access Department of Transportation publications on-line from a centralized Departmental website. Members of the public can view or download materials at their desktops. For those publications that are too lengthy to print, customers can submit a request on-line to have the desired publication printed and shipped to their address.

Mail Services provides mail operations for the DOT Headquarters buildings.  Over 8.5 million pieces of mail are handled annually.  Two daily on-site deliveries are made, as well as providing service off-site via
 2 vans.  Certified and Registered Mail may be processed.  Packages delivered by Alternate Carriers can be digitally tracked and small package handling, packing and shipment services are provided worldwide.

The Multi-Functional Printer (MFP) Program provides machines that are configured to operate as a walk-up copier, digital network printer, fax machine and network scanner, enabling customers to realize space and equipment savings while allowing them to print files directly from their desktops.  All training, maintenance, paper and copier supplies are included. Contact: Leisca White, 202-366-0719

Warehouse Services is responsible for storing bulk materials, providing truck services, receiving, reporting and excessing personal property for DOT agencies located in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area.
